Sasha is a visual artist who works with a variety of mediums. Primarily self-taught, she has supplemented her studies with artists such as Deborah Thompson and Kristy Gordon. Travelling often as a young girl, Sasha draws from the heart, motivated by the people, places, and experiences she shared with her un-schooling family. She is largely influenced by fiction, drawing inspiration from her own boundless imagination and honing her skills by bringing the written word to life. She is thrilled to be channeling her passion for art into book illustrations. Sasha lives in the woods near Nelson, BC, with her cat, Sable.
